Abstract
‘Linguistic and cultural situation’ as a theoretical notion is analyzed in the article. A complex study of linguistic and cultural situation has been proposed. The author sets the problem of further development of linguistic and cultural situation theory on the base of regional linguistic material.

Linguoulturological methodology of teaching russian as a foreign language based on systematic principles
Abstract
The proposed model is based on the methodological principles of scientific and educational activity, which have been worked out in the Laboratory of Linguoculturology and Professional Communication of the Chair of the Russian Language of Law Faculty of Peoples’ Friendship University of Russia. The article also reflects the results of the author’s long-term teaching activity.

Speech genres, speech acts and the language of advertising
Abstract
An advertisement can be described as a specific speech pattern having a certain genre and composition structure. Since an advertisement is much alike primary speech genres (message, announcement, explanation) in terms of their form and communicative goal, the theory of speech acts can be applied to their study. The illocutionary goal of an advertisement as a speech act is communication of information, but the illocutionary force represents more complicated set of means of positive emotional impact on an addressee. However, sometimes the advertising impact (perlocutionary effect) may differ from that anticipated and result in communication failure.

Suggestive and counter suggestive speech functions in russian language teaching process
Abstract
The article deals with the role of suggestive and counter-suggestive functions of speech in the process of oral communication. Teaching methods containing elements of suggestion are considered as suggestive means. Their usage in the teaching process makes this process more efficient. The teacher’s awareness of the counter-suggestion mechanism helps him to overcome misunderstanding in the recipient’s consciousness during the teaching process.

Abstract
The article is devoted to an actual problem of studying «a conceptual picture of the world model» of the students from Asian and Pacific region. Studying behavior stereotypes of this or that ethnocultural community allows to provide a purposeful training in Russian communication, based on the models of « psychological behaviour technics» of representatives of other ethnic cultures.

Linguapragmatic approach as a methodological basis for professional intercultural competence development
Abstract
The article gives an overview of the linguapragmatic approach to EFL teaching and analysis of its main components, revealing interconnection between pragmatic linguistics and theory of speech acts. It provides grounds for the structure and contents of professional intercultural competence, which is formed within the linguapragmatic approach to teaching English for professional communication. Elective course “Russian language in the dialogue of cultures” in the aspect of applied linguoculturology
Abstract
The linguocultural aspect in describing Russian as a foreign language in the conceptual aspect is not one of the common linguistic and methodical approaches, because this aspect creates the new paradigm of linguistic and cultural education. Working out conceptual bases of systematic description and teaching Russian as a foreign language is among the most actual problems. This special course is an elective course for foreign students. It forms system of values of the students in the aspect of the dialogue of languages and cultures and develops their skills of intercultural communication.

On the «Connective words dictionary» project
Abstract
This article is about one of the main Russian language problems, i.e. a gap between the object of reality and the linguistic sign meaning. It leads not only to the desemantization of the main state language verbal concepts, but also to misunderstanding of the text written in this language. One of the ways to solve this problem is creating a special combined dictionary.
