Translation methods for english newspaper texts

Abstract

The present article is a result of the practical experience in developing translation skills for students of the Law faculty. The article examines the specific stylistic, syntactic, pragmatic and lingo-cultural features of English and Russian newspaper texts which pose a complex challenge in the translation process. The article contains ways and means to meet these challenges.
