Lexico-Semantic Classification of English and Ukrainian Secondary Colour Terms: Linguoculturological Aspect

Abstract

The article deals with semantics and linguistic and cultural peculiarities of secondary colour terms selected from English and Ukrainian dictionaries. The author analyzes national specifics and isomorphic features of the given units in the two languages and realizes differences and similarities of their functioning.
