Childhood as a Theme in Charles Lamb's Works
Abstract
Childhood as one of the most frequent themes in Charles Lamb's (1775-1834) creative works is considered in the article. His involvement with the theme is revealed in number of works and comprises problems of raising children, child's vocation, and infant's mortality, together with Lamb's own recollections of his childhood. Lamb's adaptations of world literature best samples, as well as books targeted at young readers are also regarded.

The article examines the main differences in the approaches of Russian and European specialists to the principles of selection of words, to definition of a volume of a lexical minimum and sources for its composing. Analysis on the potential presumed by inter-cultural communication in education, ubbringing and in development of personality of schoolchildren
Abstract
An innovation approach, which presumes stimulation of the process related to formation of the secondary foreign language speaking personality in schoolchildren on the basis of interested learning of an exotic foreign language under the conditions of organized inter-cultural communication, which is extended at the expense of international cultural integration of schools, is discussed. This approach may become the ground for solving the problems bound up with self-education and self-upbringing of schoolchildren, which cannot be solved by traditional techniques.

Nationally-oriented teaching Russian for special purposes to non-specialists
Abstract
The article is dedicated to the problems of nationally-oriented teaching Russian for special purposes to non-specialists. In this paper the process of learning the scientific style of Russian language influenced with the special features of Chinese learners' thinking and speech activities, the nature of Chinese language and other factors is observed. The aim of this paper is to propose new ways of teaching Russian for special purposes to Chinese students based on learner-centered and nationally-oriented methods using special educational and methodical complex including e-learning course.
