Language as a cultural memory verbalized in the concept of building intercultural media discourse
Abstract
In this paper, we tried to identify the language as a cultural memory verbalized in the concept of building intercultural media discourse. Consideration and awareness of their similarities in order to help explain the possibility of building intercultural media discourse in Russia and China, allow the identification of a number of linguistic phenomena between the Chinese and Russian contemporary press, enhance mutual understanding, promote mutual communication and cooperation, in the end increase the ratio to a new level.

Free search of equivalents in translation of environmental terms with allowance for the resemantization
Abstract
To find an equivalent in translation considering the process of the replacement of the content of a linguistic sign by a new meaning, specially created to nominate concepts in ecology (process of resemantization) search techniques are considered. We analyze the use of environmental terms in oral and written texts of journalistic style, popular-science and advertising, devoted to the problems of environmental protection, new technologies.

An experimental study of the acoustic characteristics of the Russian voiced and voiceless explosive consonants in the pronunciation by Korean students
Abstract
This paper considers the problem of voiced and voiceless Russian explosive consonants in the Russian pronunciation by Korean students. An experiment was conducted to identify the acoustic variations in the pronunciation by Korean students of Russian explosive consonants. In the first stage, a computer program Praat 5.3.48 recorded Russian explosive consonants pronounced by native speakers of Russian and Korean languages. In the second stage, during the comparative analysis of the results of the experiment, acoustic characteristics of Russian explosive consonants were analyzed, and while they were pronounced by Korean students, they were found to have deviated from the norm of Russian language.

Cognitive dissonance as a reason of failure in the study of Russian as a foreign language at engineering schools
Abstract
This article is devoted to the problem of “cognitive dissonance” between the philologist who acts as a teacher and the foreign aspiring engineer. In order to clarify this problem due attention is given to the question of Russian mental culture with regards to “western” and “eastern” mentality, as well as to the question to what extent the knowledge of engineering terminology enables the student to communicate in Russian in a number of other situations. The article deals with the problem of “two cultures”: Those sectors and models of the language which can be applied to the realm of liberal arts are semantically and logically quite different from those sectors which are needed for efficient communication in the field of natural science. The author demonstrates that the study of engineering belongs to “western” rather than to "eastern" culture and differs from the latter in numerous points.

The article is devoted to the research of problems connected with intercultural communication between foreign students learning at preparatory faculties of Russian higher educational establishments and teachers of Russian as a foreign language. Some cultural peculiarities of China, Vietnam and Arab East representatives are being examined. Conclusion is made that successful intercultural communication and teacher’s knowledge of students’ (getting education at preparatory faculty) customs and traditions will lead to more active adaptation of foreign learners to life in the country the language of which they are studying.

Mythotectonics of the story «SNAKE»
Abstract
Mythotectonic plan of the story, by modern Russian writer Svetlana Vasilenko «Snake». is analyzed in the article. Symbols key for individual-author’s discourse are interpreted here. Supervision above functionality of expressive means is kept under observation. Hagiographical pretext is underlined here and it is connected to a name of main character enriching the art concept of the story. This article is of great use for specialists in Russian philology for whom studying a context of mythotectoniс processes of semantisation of urbanonims is rather important.
