Abstract

The article is devoted to the role of the communicative game component in teaching foreign languages for special purposes to high school students. The psychological foundation of the advantages of a communicative game in the educational process is given in the aspect of speech activity theory. The article also contains a few examples of communicative games in English - for students studying physics and natural sciences. «principle of ranking» and the «survival scenario» are on the basis of the given games. These games can be easily adapted to the students of other specialties.
