Abstract

In this article the role of linguistic and cultural surrounding of an international university as a resource of bilingual students communicative development is under analysis. Specific features of bilingualism / multilingualism of students from Commonwealth of Independent States are characterized. The authors also describe main structural components of the linguistic and cultural surrounding of an international university and find out main factors, promoting and preventing communicative development of bilingual students.
