On October, 23-25, 2019, International Forum of Russian language specialists was held in Bratislava, Slovakia. The main theme of the forum was “Language through culture – culture through language” (E.I. Passov). The event gathered more than 100 Russian language teachers from different European countries. Under the public contract № 021/GK “Organising and holding educational, training, scientific and methodical events in Belarus, Armenia, Moldova, aimed at promoting, supporting and strengthening positions of the Russian language, promoting Russian science, culture and education, including those devoted to memorable dates of Russian literature, culture and science” on September, 16-20, 2019, the teachers of Peoples’ Friendship University of Russia hold lectures and workshops at schools in Brest and Minsk and also at the Faculty of international relations of Belarus State University. |

On September, 23-24, 2019, the Department of the Russian language and methods of teaching of Philological Faculty, Peoples’ Friendship University of Russia, with the support of Russian Foundation of Basic Research (RFBR), held the International scientific and practical conference for young scientists “Learning and teaching Russian in different linguistic and cultural environments”. More than 100 scientists from Russia, Iraq, Algeria, Italy, Belarus, Spain, Ukraine, Vietnam, China, Senegal took part in the conference. |
