Perceptive behavior as a part of language competence
Abstract
The aim of the article is to analyze the problem of perceptive behaviour as a part of hole human language competence, the knowledge that enables one to produce and comprehend a language. In particular, the perception of distinctive feature «hardness-softness» is analyzed here.

The most productive means of expression of the category of intensity in Russian speech
Abstract
In the article the most productive intensifying words commonly used in Russian colloquial speech are analyzed from the position of the principles of functional grammar, mutual influence of different language levels is taken into consideration. The problem is studied in synchronic and diachronic aspects; norms of usage of intensifying words in modern Russian colloquial speech are also under analysis.

I&R and terminological search in the activities of a specialized translator
Abstract
To analyze, understand and interpret a text in a foreign language the translator have to perform I&R as well as terminological searches. Teaching students the methods of searching the appropriate terms and required information and composing the terminological charts significantly increases the ability of working as a professional interpreter of the specialized texts in their professional sphere for the students of non-linguistic universities.

The article deals with the mechanisms of intralingual lexical interference which act during the whole period of teaching Russian to the foreigners.
