Colour Worldview Verbalization in M. Bulgakov’s “The White Guard”
Abstract
The article deals with the linguistic means of M. Bulgakov’s colour worldview explication. The aim of the work is to describe the number and semantics of lexical units with colour seme used by M. Bulgakov in his “The White Guard”, to show the peculiarities of the author’s colour view.

The Means of Teaching Foreign Students to Perceive Verbal Images of an Artistic Text
Abstract
This paper presents technics of teaching foreign students based on perceptual unity of the seasons verbal images in Russian literature. Special schemes are used as a tool of such training. The schemes let introduce a net of verbal images in a text to foreign students. The demonstrated exercises are based on the poem “Spring waters’ by F.I. Tyutchev.

Structural Types of Composite Colour Terms
Abstract
The article deals with basic structural types of composite colour terms. Cognitive nature of these linguistic units is also examined here. From the point of word-formation theory there are two main groups of colouratives - univerbalization composites and units of quasi- composite building.

The article characterizes the role of technical university students’ independent work in foreign language teaching according to the FSES 3-rd generation. Axiological Values of Americans and Latin Americans in Jokes
Abstract
The article explains that the most effective way to disclose nationally specific set of values of different peoples lies through their cross-cultural comparison. On the example of modern “joke” and Spanish “chiste” we analyze opposite axiological orientation of North Americans and Latin Americans.

Professional Concept in ESP Teaching to Peoples’ Friendship University of Russia Law-Students
Abstract
The paper touches upon the subject of study of Judges and related activities while teaching English for special purposes (ESP) to law-students of non-linguistic Universities. Analysis of competence approach and orientation on professional aspects in English teaching is completed. Brief review of some English terminological set expressions used by the Judges in their activities in Russia, UK and USA is given here. Interdisciplinary and personal achievements of non-linguistic Universities’ law students are accentuated.
