Abstract
This article deals with the problem of translation of the title of Ch. Aytmatov’s novel “Farewell, Gulsary” (on the Kyrgyz language - “Janibarym Gulsarym”) from the Russian language into the English and the German languages; the semantic-stylistical contents, which are put forward in the title of the text are compared on the Kyrgyz, the Russian languages and translation of the title on the English, the German languages. There is drawn a conclusion, that the semantic-stylistical foregrounding in the title of the novel on the Kyrgyz language, on the one side, and on the Russian, on the English, on the German languages, on the other side, are filled with different content: cherishing, admiration for nobility of horse in the Kyrgyz language; farewell, future uncertainty -in the Russian, in the English, in the German languages. Semantics of a noble animal - horse (in the Kyrgyz janybar) is represented in the Kyrgyz language in the title of the text. The notion stallion and mare aren’t put forward in other three languages («Прощай, Гульсары»; “Farewell, Gulsary”; “Abschied von Gulsary”). Reader realizes it the process of reading the novel.
