Abstract
The purpose of this article - the analysis of one of the basic archetypes of world culture - “HOME”. Despite the universatility of this unit the only constant is semantic core of the archetype, while the differential semes of this structure structures vary depending on the geography of “existence”. The conclusion of the work becomes the assumption that in the context of ethnically heterogeneous society archetypes undergo contamination of the process of hybridization of different mental “layers”. The material of the article is based on the texts by the Russian-speaking writers of Kazakhstan: I. Shukhov,Belger, A. Zhaksylykov and others.
