Ecological Competence as Integral Criterion of Environment-oriented Personality (Essential and Functional Aspects)
Abstract
The article discloses the essence and functions of the ecological competence of personality as an integrative link among the concepts, such as «ecological culture», «ecologically focused professional educational environment», «culture of making ecologically focused administrative decisions», «ecologically focused activity»; and also as a phenomenon integrally reflecting the peculiarities of the manifestation of the structures of the ecologically focused personality.

Psychological Features of Initiative in Groups with High and Low Creativity Level
Abstract
In this research the comparative analysis of the significance of different parameters of initiative in groups with different level of creativity is submitted. As a result of which some specific qualities of the initiative in each group were revealed. Practical recommendations on the development of initiative were given.

Application of Neuromodular Techniques for Correction of Personality Characteristics in the Course of Transactional Analysis
Abstract
The probability of using neuromodulation methods and creating instrumental equivalent of transactional analysis used for ego-states correction is discussed in the article. Ego-states are analyzed in accordance with neuro-cognitive mechanisms and psycho-functional states.

Cross-Cultural Features of Perception and Understanding of the Film Avatar (by the Example of Russian, American and Chinese Students)
Abstract
The article analyzes the results of the studies of the peculiarities of the perception of the movie Avatar by persons residing in the USA, Russia, China. The common and specific features were revealed. The common features include the positive attitude of the respondents to the movie. The specific features include the differences in the perception of the main message of the movie, in the interpretation of the plot of the film, in the evaluation of special effects, in the identification of the movie with the real life events.

The Five-Factor Model: General Overview
Abstract
The article describes the five-factor model (FFM), giving an overview of its history, basic dimensions, cross-cultural research conducted on the model and highlights some practical studies based on the FFM, including the studies on job performance, leader performance and daily social interactions. An overview of the recent five-factor theory is also provided. According to the theory, the five factors are encoded in human genes, therefore it is almost impossible to change the basic factors themselves, but a person's behavior might be changed due to characteristic adaptations which do not alter personality dimensions, only a person's behavior.
