Pronina E.A., Shub G.M., Shvidenko I.G.

Abstract

This article gives the account of the research results of electro-magnetic influence on a frequency of nitric oxide absorption and radiation molecular spectrum (150 GHz) and atmospheric oxygen absorption and radiation molecular spectrum (129 GHz) on the sensitivity of Escherichia coli to several antibiotics. The panoramic spectrometric measuring complex, developed in Central Scientific Research Institute of measuring equipment Public corporation, Saratov, was used while carrying out the research. Electromagnetic vibrations of extremely high frequencies were stimulated in this complex imitating the structure of atmospheric oxygen and nitric oxide absorption and radiation molecular spectrum. The experiments that were carried out indicate the influence of radiation on chosen frequencies on the gene expression of drug resistance.

Features of accumulation of microcells in bodies of urinogenital system

Zaitsev I.V., Zaitsev V.F.

Abstract

Infringements in maintenance in an organism of the person can be traced during all life. Presence in an environment of the raised maintenance of the some people and microcells, toxic for an organism of the person, in opinion of many authors, promotes occurrence of a background on which various diseases can develop. The salts of heavy metals contained in the Volga water (one of the basic sources of receipt of microcells in an organism of the person), are dominating among other toxicant for the population of the Astrakhan region. The submitted data can be used as the additional laboratory criterion reflecting risk of development of avarious pathology of urinogenital system.

Abstract

The two-stage retrospective review of 1375 medical records of ambulatory patients with myocardial infarction was carried out in order to assess the delivery rate of up-to-date international and domestic guidelines for secondary CVD prevention over a period of 2001- 2006. The gap between the current guidelines for medicamental prophylaxis and their implementation in clinical outpatient practice was revealed. In spite of the fact that doctors began to prescribe preventive drugs more often target levels for cholesterol and blood pressure were not achieved in the major part of patients with myocardial infarction. The prescription rate of antiaggregants, anticoagulants and statins is still rather low.

Gushina J.S., Loskutova E.E., Lepakhin V.K.

Abstract

Diabetes mellitus II (DMII) is a chronic disease that has a major social impact. A substantial proportion of the costs of diabetes treatment arises from treating long-term complications, particularly cardiovascular disease (CVD). Arterial hypertension increases risk of CVD in patients with DMII. The objective of this study was to estimate costs of managing arterial hypertension in patients with DMII in different outpatient departments. It was detected higher level of costs of medical care in general practice department, but provide maximal benefit to the treatment of arterial hypertension in such group in specialized agency.

Zeltyn-Abramov E.M., Radzevitch A.E.

Abstract

The possible connection between thrombolytic therapy (TT) and the risk of left ventricle free wall rupture (LVFWR) in patients with acute myocardial infarction with ST-elevation (STEMI) is the point of discussion. The purpose of the study is evaluation of lethal outcomes among patients with STEMI. The retrospective analysis of medical data, including autopsy reports was performed. All data were divided in two groups: 210 case reports without TT and 188 reports with TT performed. Obtained data demonstrate the evident prevalence of LVFWR among patients, treated with TT: 52,4% vs 20,0% independently of myocardial reperfusion achieved. The evaluation of LVFWR risk at concrete patient with STEMI is strongly recommended.

Surgical repair of fractures involving the orbital floor

Sandoval J.M., Gunko V.I.

Abstract

Authors report their experience in the treatment of fractures involving the orbital floor. A total of 14 patients passed pre and post-operative clinical and radiological assessment. Of the 14 patients, the zygomatic-maxillary-orbital complex was involved in 6, isolated fractures of the orbital floor blow-out in 8. In all the cases transantral approach was used. In fractures involving the zygomatic-maxillary-orbital complex, apart from repair of the orbital floor, fixation of «standard» junctions' points was made. In isolated fractures of the orbital floor blow-out, «bone-plastic antrotomy» method was used. This one may be defined as variant of classical antrotomy what don't leave bone defect on the frontal wall of the maxillary sinus. In all the cases titanium material was used for osteosynthesis: mini-plates or mesh. The last one was employed in four patients due to substantial bone loss. Functional and aesthetic deficits were resolved in all patients. Long-term results showed complete recovering of binocular eyesight and absence of enophthalmos.

State of the fermentable antioxidant system of blood, prostate secret and ejaculate at standard treatment of chronic abacterial prostatitis/syndrome of chronic pelvic pain (CAP/CPPS IIIA)

Shangichev А.V.

Abstract

Activity of superoxiddismutase (SOD) and catalase (CT) in blood, secret of prostate and ejaculate of 42 patients with CAP/CPPS IIIA before and in 1 month after standard treatment, had been investigated. Activity of SOD in blood has been lowered in comparison with norm on 15,6% (p < 0,05), and in a prostate secretion and in ejaculate is increased on 42,1% (p < 0,05) and 38,1% (p < 0,05). КТ Activity was 24,5% (p < 0,05), 31,6% (p < 0,05) and 28,8% (р < 0,05) higher in blood, prostate secret and ejaculate before treatment. After treatment activity of SOD is in blood, prostate secretion did not differ from the control. SOD Activity in ejaculate remained increased on 30,6% (p < 0,05). The indexes of catalase activity went down and did not differ from the control. Changes of SOD and CT activity in blood, prostate secretion and ejaculate of patients with CAP/CPPS IIIA testify to the expressed fermentation misbalance of antioxidant defense and about development of free radical pathology. Determination of SOD and CT activity in blood, secretion of prostate and ejaculate can serve as the biochemical criterion of development of inflammation and can be used for monitoring of efficiency of treatment of patients with CPPS IIIA.

Features of the formation of neurovegetatioe reaction in ontogenesis of frequently ill children

Useynova N.N., Kolmakova T.S., Shovkun V.A., Mizernitsky Y.L.

Abstract

There have been examined 360 children aged till three years of life hospitalised with the diagnosis of acute respiratory disease. All children have been divided into two groups: sporadic ill ones (frequency of catarrhal diseases 1-2 years) and frequently being ill children (frequency of catarrhal diseases 4-6 year). The influence of psychosocial and medical-biological factors on frequency of disease has been carried out, and it has also been defined the content of biogenic amines in blood - adrenalin (A), noradrenalin (NA), dopamine (DA) and serotonin. The analysis of the findings was carried out on the age rotation. The research results of a sporadic being ill children have shown the adrenergic regulations of visceral functions to prevail in the first months of life and it is gradually getting weaker conceding to noradrenergic system which reflects heterochronia of maturing nervous regulation life-support systems in the first years of life. At a frequently being ill children a corresponding dynamics of indicators of adrenaline and noradrenalin content in blood was lacking and that gives us the basis to speak about an arrest of development of sympathetic regulation of vegetative maintenance at the children of that group. The results of research allow us to say also about infringement of formation of functional mutual relations between noradrenergic and dopaminergitic links of vegetative regulation in the first years of life and that can be one of the reasons of low stress of stability of a high frequency of morbidity.
