Abstract

The article considers editorial activities of the newspaper «The New York Times» during presidential elections in the USA in 2008 in relation to the Democratic party's candidate Barrack Obama. Using a content-analytical research of the front page headlines the author does conclusions about features of coverage his pre-election campaign.
