Abstract
As a leading country in the region, China wants to be one of the main players in the media, first and foremost for their own image. Therefore the government has decided that China just need to express itself in the “outside world”, and this is well done with the help of government-controlled media pool. There are three major traditional areas in which China conducts its struggle for world public opinion: News Agency Xinhua, Radio of China, International and TV channel CCTV.
