Abstract
Translation as a process and as a result of communication has always been a significant topic in the language theory. In this respect the problem of gaps elimination which inevitably occurs in oral or written bilingual communication is becoming quite topical. This article is devoted to the ways of gaps elimination in a translated fiction text.
