Abstract

The evolution of F.D.E. Schleiermacher’s religious philosophy revealed the development of approaches not just in methodology, but in its perception by Russian philosophers and society starting from the second half of the XIX century. It caused critics as a philosophy of reductionalism. At the turn of XIX—XX centuries F.D.E. Schleiermacher is treated as a classic, and though his views aren’t reflecting the questions of the day, they are making up as one of the historic stages of human knowledge evolution.
