Abstract
In article the basic directions of the advanced Russian culture in the end of XIX - the XX th century beginning are taken up. This time as the author fairly marks, has become in Russian history, as the Golden Age of Russian culture. Besides, There are analyzed features of a socially-cultural life of Russia of the first decades of the XX th century which has defined the culture maintenance the next 20 years.
