Thoughts of Confucius and "Confucian Logic" according to Hu Shih
Abstract
The article is devoted to the analysis of Chinese philosopher Hu Shih's view on the philosophy of Confucius. First of all analyzed the Hu Shih's attempt to find in thoughts of ancient Chinese philosopher the logical methodology based on combinatorial ideas of "Book of Changes" (I Ching). In the article is showed aspiration of Hu Shih to lead conceptions of different schools of Chinese philosophy to common conceptual field.

Witnessing in Theravada Buddhism
Abstract
This paper aims to show that the problem of personal identity is a fundamental question not only in a Buddhist tradition but in Western philosophy too. The author discovers a notion of "witnessing" includes all kinds of conscious experience, perception and thought. Through the distinction itself and the rest of the world as the relationship between Subject and Object author shows a lack of Western point of view and subtly draws the subject of Theravada Buddhism, which in the opinion, Matulyak A.V. incorporates perspective of the eternal question: Who am I? What is my self?
The author gently introduces a Buddhist text, giving the opportunity to touch the methodological foundations of Gotama, the Buddha. The author very interesting shows her point of view, engaging in a process of seeing the situation. Gradual reveals the evolution of views between Subject and Object in the light of the Buddhist doctrine of anatta (no - self). The article was written at a high conceptual level, and the apparent intertwining of Western philosophy and the philosophy of Theravada Buddhism, indicates exceptional character of the object - witnessing and the need to continue this investigations.

Abstract
This article contains the analysis of the main trends of Islamic exegetical tradition. Particular attention is paid to the Sufi exegetical tradition as an integral part of the Islamic one. In addition, the author reveals the peculiarities of the Sufi tafsirs and factors that influenced on their formation.

The concept of «soul» in Abu Hayyan al-Tawhidi and Abu Ali Miskaweyh's «Question and answering» treatise
Abstract
The article bids to analyze the semantic concept of soul as a category of special rational method of Abu Hayyan al-Tawhidi. The article concludes that the traditional levels of the world's Soul and Mind are closer in al-Tawhidi's works as the ratio and irrational mind in it are more related as well.

Ibn Bajjah's philosophical heritage
Abstract
The author this article presents some socio-philosophical and cosmological Ibn Bajjah's views (1085-1138 A.D.). He is the first Muslim philosopher in the West, we meet with a different approach to Plato and his political philosophy. For Avempace, to give him the name by which he was known to the Scholastics and modern students of philosophy.

Pragmatist episode in the biography of logican N.A. Vasiliev
Abstract
This article is devoted to the stage of primary reception of pragmatism in Russian philosophical culture. The author is focused on the founder of the "imaginary logic" N. A Vasiliev (1880-1940), who attempted to describe and identify the essence of the pragmatism. It's interesting for us as historians of philosophical ideas because by 1908 pragmatism has taken various forms and captured the minds of European (and Russian) intellectual community.

Abstract
The article focuses on some philosophical aspects of comparative analysis of ancient Egyptian and Greek thought, such as a question of the possibility of Egyptian influence in Hesiod's "Theogony" and attempts of the historical and philosophical analysis of categories "Maat" and "Dike" in modern Egyptology and Classical Studies, particularly in the papers of V.A. Interpretations of love in the treatise of Marguerite Porete «The mirror of simple souls» and in scholasticism of Thomas Aquinas
Abstract
The article concentrates on the comparative study of the notions of love represented by two medieval authors Marguerite Porete and Thomas Aquinas. Marguerite's unique and refreshing interpretation of God-human relationship in her treatise «The Mirror of Simple Souls» gives us a new insight to the medieval understanding of the nature of love, while Thomas Aquinas represents in his scholastic works a perfect illustration to the natural philosophy of love based on Aristotle's psychology. Analyzing different kinds and levels of love in the works of both thinkers, the author of this article intends not only to highlight the similarities and differences between them, but also to reconstruct their philosophical background and argumentation.

Brazilian identity as a sociocultural phenomenon
Abstract
Despite the considerable number of studies on the historical process of formation of the Brazilian nation, it seems to be important to examine this problem from the socio-cultural point of view. We should refer to the beginning of the historical process, when the "Brazilian" appears not only as a subjective phenomenon of self-identification, but, above all, as a phenomenon of social and cultural reality. We will try to make a brief historical overview of the most significant ideas pertaining to the subject, because the matter of Brazilian identity appears to be basic for a researcher of Brazil's history, sociology and culture.

Forms of sexism: the unexpected turn of present
Abstract
The article studies the gender identity, its perception and interpretation by men and women in the contemporary society. We started this study in our article "M and F: gender stratification as an instrument of self-preserving of an ideology". Some other problems of the relative issues are also analysed in the current text - but from definitely different point of view. They include the analysis of how women themselves perceive the fight against sexism, the coordination between male and female concept of sexism - and more.

The problem of historical types of unity of scientific knowledge
Abstract
The article examines the principles of philosophical analysis of the historical types of the unity of science. It is shown that the historical types of the unity of science related to natural science foundations. There are four types of historical unity of scientific knowledge - antique (contemplative-syncretic), medieval (symbolic-value), neweuropean (analytical) and postnonclassical (convergent).

Philosophical texts of Yamunacarya: "Atmasiddhi"
Abstract
The paper deals with the philosophical work of Yamunacarya, who was a founder of vishishishta-advaita system philosophy. This text is preserved fragmentally and was reconstructed and translated by American and Indian researchers. The common information is given in the introductory article and commentaries on the Russian translation of the Sanskrit text.

«The grammar of the heart» by al-Qushchayri
Abstract
This article includes a translation of the work "The Grammar of the Heart" by one of the most famous sufy theoretics of the Xth century al-Qushchayi (986-1072), as well as the commentary to his work, which is translated from Arabic to Russian for the first time. The article emphasizes on the importance of this work in the history of sufizm, as well as aims to show the meanings of its symbols. The author gives detailed descriptions of saved manuscripts as well as a description of its modern editions.
