Abstract
The work is devoted to studying of the functional state of the autonomic nervous system (ANS) of HIV infected patients. Heart rate variability, frequency and severity of vegetative manifestations. were studied in 103 HIV-positive patients. The control group consisted of 23 healthy persons.
Obtained data revealed changes of the functional state of ANS along with development of hypersympathicotonia and increasing of frequency and severity of vegetative manifestations as the HIV-infection progressed.
