Abstract
The article discusses the specifics of poetic realization of one of the main concepts of V. Solovyov’s creativity Unity, manifested at the level of cultural synthesis of the two antagonistic systems - the pagan (Greco-Roman) mythology and Christian doctrine. The analysis of poems, which used images of Prometheus, Pygmalion and Galatea, Perseus and Andromeda, Orpheus and Eurydice, Adonis, Aphrodite, shows how the famous ancient stories in Solovyov’s poetry reinterpreted, symbolized and Christianized.
