Abstract

The topic of the article covers the level of influence of mass communications in philology as a science of language: new genres appearance, trends of development of spoken and writing languages, new words appearance and integration into the globalization process. The author provides detailed explanation of the concept of «mass communications», analyzes the specific aspects of the conversation between the communicator and the recipient, and proves the importance of journalism and philology cooperation in saving the richness of Russian language and in assigning the literacy standards in the spoken language.
