Abstract
The article discusses the development of the genre and compositional forms a book of poems that took place in Russian poetry in the XXth century. The dynamics of these forms observed such phenomena as the futuristic book representing a synthesis of poetry and the visual arts, unauthor’s (posthumous) book of poems, “documentary and lyrical” book of poems of the war years, etc. Period during the second half of 1950-1970s is noted as a special stage when the trend of lyricism covered all literature genres and lyric poem was important and independent genre unit. During this period different ways of organizing the poems in the book present in works by E. Vinokurov, D. Samojlov, B. Akhmadulina, Yu. Levitansky, P. Antokolsky et al. At the same time phenomenon of “samizdat” arises - it was limited edition and non-typographical printing book. In many ways “samizdat” prepared the period of rapid development of new forms and types of books in Russian poetry of the 1980-1990s.
