Abstract
This article is dedicated to analyze of space-time continuum of the first Bunin’s autobiographical novel “Arseniev’s life” which was created in emigration. The authors explore ways of understanding the world and its space-time borders of the main character Alesha Arsenyev from his birth through his infancy, his childhood till adolescent years. A distinctive feature of the model of the world in a novel pre-defined its chronotope is a connection of modernity, the events of world history, the history of ancient civilizations, and biblical scenes in his narration. The articlefocuses on idea of path that the soul of man passes, coming from the Space to the earthly world and finding corporeal shell, breaking away from the divine universe, in which the only category commensurate Eternity, and “live” in the earthly world, limited by space toposes and time frames.
