Abstract
An article is devoted to postgraduate education in the leading countries of the world. Conditions of enrollment of students on these programs, features of educational process and preparation of theses, to employment and career prospects of graduates are described. And also migration policy concerning foreign graduates of Master’s degree courses and doctoral studies directed further residence and work in the country after completion of edication. Aging of the population of Europe and future deficiency of experts in labor market force the governments to weaken migration rules for this category of foreign citizens. These measures have to increase number third-country nationals.
