Announcement of August issue (2022. No. 3)

The editors of the journal announce the publication of the August issue dedicated to the 350th anniversary of Peter the Great’s birthday.

The issue analyzes the foreign policy goals set by Peter the Great (including the eastward motion of the empire). There is also revealed the role of his associates in the implementation of the reforms. Some articles of the thematic issue are devoted to the reflection of the personality and activities of Peter the Great in historical literature and sources, as well as in public discourse. The authors are leading Russian scientists, specialists in the history of the 18th century - E.V. Anisimov, T.V. Chernikova, V.E. Bagdasaryan, S.I. Resnyansky, A. Yu. Petrov, N.V. Eylbart and others.
