Abstract
In modern Russia the question of patriotic education of youth is given a lot of attention, but in this article, pay attention not only on the education of the youth by public authorities, but also on the patriotic education in higher educational establishments of the Russian Fe-deration. For example, consider how to maintain the memory of the Great Patriotic War in the consciousness of modern Russian youth, affects the formation of patriotic perception of this social group.
