Abstract
Aim: to study lymphotropic antibiotics therapy for prevention of postoperative inflammatory complications after the surgery on the major joints.
Two groups of patients were involved in this study. In the first group, prophylaxis of infection has been carried out according to traditional scheme including intravenous injections of antibiotics, whereas in the second group antibiotic therapy - through lymphotropic injections. Blood (erythrocytes) analyses had been doing in dynamics - prior to treatment, on the 3rd and 10th days after the operation. Strength of content of malon dialdehyde (MD) and systemic lipids have been measured in the red-cell membrane. Condition of antioxidant protection (AOP) has been evaluated according to the activity of superoxide dismutase (SD), catalase, glutathione peroxidase (GP) and glutathione reductase (GSR) enzymes.
It is established that lymphotropic antiobiotic therapy allows to decrease in a greater degree the destructive effect of lipids peroxidation processes, to increase potential capacity of AOP enzymes, to restore barrier-filtration and transportation-drainage function of lymphatic vessels that favorably effects on the processes of reparation and physiological regeneration of damaged tissues.
