Abstract

Article dedicated to the creation and establishment of the literary and artistic «thick» journal «Druzhba narodov» in the period from 1928 to 1955. The evolution of the almanac in the periodical, the emergence in its pages the basic principles of multi-ethnicity of the literary process in the USSR and consolidation around the publication of talented translators, including Boris Pasternak, N. Z, Andrei Tarkovsky, P. Antokolsky, S. Lipkin, N. Grebnev, J. Kozlowski et al. analyzed the literary and political agenda almanac, expressed the commitment of the official exchange rate of the State and the canons of socialist realism.
