Abstract

The paper considers lexical-semantic peculiarities of English social-political discourse. The author shows some difficulties arising in the sphere of international communication; special attention is given to the use of social-political lexicon by politicians and specialists in public administration. The issues of terminology studies and term systems in the sphere of English socio-political lexicon are studied.
