Formation and Evolution of Reformatory Democratism in Russia late 19th - early 20th сenturies
Abstract
In the article the author analyzes the reformatory democratic thought of Russia as an independent and original phenomenon of spiritual and public life of the country, as the complete, interconnected and developing system integrally combining ideas of democratism, liberalism and reformism. The special attention is paid to factors which have defined process of its crystallization.

Abstract
The article is devoted to the causes of the Russian Empire breakup. The author studies imperial foundations as a particular type of statehood, shows their features in the light of these components and tries to trace the process of the Russian Empire formation, the evolution of Russian Imperious structure, ideological-religious and political basis of supreme authority legitimacy, show the place and role of ethno-national problem in history of countries.

«Withdrawal is carried out without Complications». Attitude of Moscow Population to Church Values Withdrawal Campaign in 1922
Abstract
In article features of Bolshevist propaganda for withdrawal of church values are analyzed during campaign of 1922 and practice of its carrying out in Moscow. On a basis for the first time sources entered into a scientific turn the wide spectrum of the opinions, passing an opinion is shown campaign at meetings of working and church communities.

«Pay Us - then we'll work!» - the Forms of Political Participation of Proletariat in Labor Compensation Matter in late 1920s - in 1930s
Abstract
In the given article the forms of workers' political activity in labor compensation matter are being described and analyzed on the archive data base. The article shows the proletariat's variation and choice of political participation forms, the characteristics of the proletariat's political awareness in the historical terms of the 1930s.

The emergency Policies in Decisions of the Communist Central Committee Politburo between «Revolution from Above» and the Great Terror, 1930-1936
Abstract
The article emphasizes the «critical points» of the policy and ideology behind the emergency measures applied as a special means of administering the country. On the basis of «special files» of the minutes of the Politburo, it studies the limits and the causes of the transformation of the emergency measures into «chrezvychaishchina». This change in the measures applied weakened the social bases of Stalin's regime and undermined the foundations of the productive forces of the country. The author shows how the policy of taking drastic action, which was first applied to production (grain supply, etc.), was progressively extended to the problems of security and political control, and how those in power tried to find ways of preventing a shift towards «chrezvychaishchina».

Abstract
The article deals with the conditions and mechanisms to preserve national and cultural identity among young people in exile 1920-1930s. The author notes high adaptability of the institutional measures taken by the emigrants in the creation of school and extracurricular activities.

The article is about the emigration wave from the territory of Western Belarus and Western Ukraine in the inter-war period. Polish government organized emigration process of Belarusians and Ukrainians in the different countries of the world. The article gives the characteristic of a role of different foreign shipborne companies in Poland.

Talmud Department «Nezikin» and Basic Traits of the Jews' Business Culture
Abstract
In the article the author analyses Talmud' special department «Nezikin» is analyzed with the purpose to bring to light the basic traits of the Jews' business culture. The author has come to a conclusion, that exactly the Talmud' regulations have ensured centuries-old success the Jews' business culture which has such characteristics as a collectivism at solving of public affairs, a strict regulation of all productions, business tolerance, multidimensional protection and care of safety of production means, honesty in labor relations and others.

Political Exile and Development of Local Studies in Northern Russia in 19th - early 20th Centuries: Experience of Rethinking
Abstract
The article analyses the role of political exiles in the development of Local studies in Northern Russia in the 19th - early 20th centuries. The author notes that the process of local intelligentsia formation took place in this period. Local intelligentsia became actively involved in Local studies, and, therefore, the contribution of political exiles into the Local studies gradually decreased. Political exiles played the most important role in Local studies in Northern Russia only in the years 1825-1861. In 1861-1904 their contribution decreased, and in 1905-1917 political exiles activity constituted a small part of the whole Local studies.

«Slapdash», «Service», «Creation»: Attitude to Labour as means of Siberian Art Intelligentsia Self-Identification (1920-1960s)
Abstract
The article is devoted to differentiation of labour activities in consciousness of Omsk painters (1920-1960s) and reflects the dynamics of values hierarchy and the change of self-appraisal not only among painters but in the Soviet society on the whole. A particular attention is paid to the opposition « work-creation» which emphasizes the dependence of art intelligentsia on social institutions.
