Abstract
The purpose - comparative investigation of influence of inhibitors hydroxy-methyllglutaril co-enzyme A-reductase - Fluvastatin, Lovastatin and Simvastatin on rheological properties of erythrocytes in patients with arterial hypertension and dyslipidemia.
The total number of enrolled patients was 95 and all of them had arterial hypertension 1-2 degrees, risk 3 and dyslipidemia II type (recommendation VNOK, 2007). The average age of patients was 52,4 ± 2,6 yrs. The control group included 26 healthy people of similar age. Patients have been divided into 3 comparable, homogeneous groups according to administration either Fluvastatin or Lovastatin or Simvastatin for 12 months in each group.
Administration of Fluvastatin and Lovastatin in patients with arterial hypertension with dyslipidemia within 1 year is capable to reduce activity lipid oxidations of lipids in erythrocyte membranes, its deformation changes and aggregation activity whereas the therapy by Simvastatin allows the erythrocyte activity to reach the values in control group.
