Clinical and anatomical substantiation of application of modular femoral neck components in primary total hip arthroplasty

Abstract

The article presents the results of primary total hip arthroplasty in 108 patients using modular systems necks femoral components. In our study, straight modular necks were used in 56.5% of cases, angled modular necks - in 43.5 %, which shows the possibility of using modular neck in all patients, especially in severe cases.
