Abstract
The article describes the features of romantic poetry by famous Russian postmodernist poet Timyr Kibirov. The author notes that the poet speaks against romanticism, but at the same time the author argues that Timyr Kibirov - a romantic poet. A similar paradox can be found in the works of another Russian romantic poet of the nineteenth century, V.K. Kuchelbecker.
