Abstract
Nformation about the reliability and accuracy of the results of numerical simulation of stress waves in solid deformable environment is presented. The task is implemented using the finite element method in displacements. The comparison with results of the analytical solution on the front plane longitudinal elastic wave is made. The studied problem is presented in the form of a half-plane
