Abstract
This article analyzes the ethnic stratification of African society. Growing problems of an economic, social and political inequalities of ethnic groups in Africa generates inter-ethnic conflicts, the growth of ethno-national identity and the pursuit of ethno-territorial autonomy. Political movements for the liberation of ethnic minority is supported by Unrepresented Nations and Peoples Organization (UNPO).
