Modern problems of male mortality (on an example of the Republic of Bashkortostan)

Abstract

The article presents the data on death rate of rural and urban male population in the Republic of Bashkortostan in the 2008. The standardized indicators demonstrate that death rates from cancer, diseases of blood circulation and respiratory systems were higher among urban men. On the contrary, among rural men the mortality from traumas is considerably above.
