Abstract

An author analyses the age-dependent features of the most defenseless and perceiving audience of preschoolers (under-fives). Argued conclusion is drawn that modern journalism must take into account the psychological features of perception of tele- and broadcastings. To every age corresponds certain character of perception, both outward things and influencing MASS-MEDIA. Under-fives is the first age-dependent stage on classification of Yelkonyn [Yelkonyn, 1974] and most difficult for establishment of contact in MASS-MEDIA.

Chain broadcasting genres types revisited

Abstract

The article addresses main theses and features of Internet-broadcasting genres' division as new field of mass media. TV-product quality is defined, this product being developed in new technological environment, a clear and detailed difference between internet-television and IPTV is given, as well as various existing interactive television definitions. An emphasis is made on analysis of current Internet-TV content distribution according to categories and genres (Internet, IPTV, the difference between them is showed). The author examines some other characteristics of free live broadcasting television as well as on-demand TV as a new phenomenon, analyzes the possibilities this new technology offers and how new trends of work and relations appear in this regard.
