Identification of reserves for the competitive advantage increase and application of research-based methods to usage of identified reserves is a priority at present. The main aim of this article is to propose methods for cost-reduction in construction.

The new calculation method of the surface movements and deformations in which for the first time prominent features of the developed space at borehole hydromining operations are considered is developed.

Self-sufficient software package TOF-ONLINE for online visualization and preliminary data processing for experiments at COSY-TOF particle detector at COSY accelerator was developed. It automatically controls the detector elements functionality during data acquisition at the experiment, visualizes the detectors key parameters and creates geometrical reconstruction of the tracks of produced elementary particles in the context of the detector geometry. This work describes in details the algorithms of the final stage - the track reconstruction.

The mechanism of polarization of a lacquer coating is studied. It is established that polarization is caused by localization of charges, both in a thin blanket, and in covering volume. An article presents a method for designing a calculating plan for the turbine profiles with a fixed thickness of blade.

Combined heat and power (CHP or cogeneration) describes the simultaneous generation of electrical power and heat. CHP has been well established for medium and high power ranges (> 100 kW el. power). The Kompakte Dampf Turbine (KDT, meaning compact steam turbine) addresses the low-end of power generation (~2 kW el. power). The KDT is a highly integrated power plant of small dimensions able to use various heat sources. Its simple design promises a low-cost CHP for residential homes.

In the work up the technique of the decision of problems about the large deflections of beams from ideal hard-plastic material, with various kinds of fastening, for want of action of the asymmetrically distributed loads with allowance for of preliminary stretching-compression is developed. The developed technique is applied for research of the strained-deformed condition of beams, and also for calculation of a deflection of beams with allowance for of geometrical nonlinearity.
