THE INTERNATIONAL COMMUNITY IN STRUGGLE AGAINST TERRORISM: PROBLEMS OF STRUCTURIZATION
Abstract
The international anti-terrorist coalition faces now serious difficulties of conceptual and natural origin. First, the acceptable for the leading nations definition of international terrorism was not formulated yet, and, second, unanimity on the origin of international terrorism is lacking. That is the reason for absence of efficient anti-terrorist international regime.

Abstract
At the end of the ХХ-th century the theory of social capital was highly acclaimed and used by specialists of different social studies, in particular, economists, political scientists and sociologists. Social capital accumulation is favorable to socio-economic development, because mutual trust reduces transaction costs and contributes to dissemination of socially useful information.

Abstract
The experiences of China in the innovation of the approaches to the state property offer a richest factual material making it possible to make a conclusion that China occupies a special place in the history of countries that have chosen the creation of modern market economy without a radical destruction of the socio-economic order in general as their strategic prospect. China’s own scientific theory known worldwide as the building of socialism with Chinese specifics has become its advantage on this path.

THE DICHOTOMY OF «THE ISLAMIC WORLD - THE WEST» IN THE DOCTRINE OF SAYID QUTB
Abstract
This article analyses the relationship between the West and the Islamic World in the teaching of a famous Egyptian Islamic thinker and an ideological leader of the Muslim Brothers Association - Sayyid Qutb (1906-1966). Qutb considers Islam as a unique and universal social system which eventually will oppose the materialistic and hedonistic system of the West. In his writings Qutb predicted, that the real clash in the World will arise between the faithless West and the Islamic system deriving from «the only true sacred knowledge».

THE SHANGHAI COOPERATION ORGANIZATION IN THE ENGLISH LANGUAGE WEST
Abstract
Although the Shanghai Cooperation Organization remains relatively unknown in Western foreign policy analysis, it is the focus of some strong opinions. These viewpoints range from interpreting the SCO as an alliance directed against the West to those that make the case for engagement with the SCO as the best mechanism for achieving Western interests in the region. This short paper argues that as the SCO becomes better known and understood with time and research, views that consider the SCO as a threat will decrease and views that assess it positively for both the Central Asian region and for cooperation with West on common interests will increase.
