Abstract
This article is devoted to the comparative analysis of economic interest groups in Russia and Egypt. The study deals not only with activities of the economic interest groups in the contemporary politics, but with the analysis in the historical retrospective. The author comes to different important conclusions and makes estimations, concerning the possibilities and perspectives of the transmission of foreign experience into the Russian practice of political interest representation as well as usage of some elements of lobbying in Russia in Egyptian politics. Also the study makes inquiries into the main trends of development of economic interest groups in Russia and Egypt.
