The study deals not only with activities of the economic interest groups in the contemporary politics, but with the analysis in the historical retrospective. The author comes to different important conclusions and makes estimations, concerning the possibilities and perspectives of the transmission of foreign experience into the Russian practice of political interest representation as well as usage of some elements of lobbying in Russia in Egyptian politics. Also the study makes inquiries into the main trends of development of economic interest groups in Russia and Egypt. Данная статья посвящена сравнительному анализу экономических групп интересов в России и Египте. В исследовании современная политическая активность экономических игроков анализируется с точки зрения исторической ретроспективы. Автор приходит к важным выводам, которые касаются возможности использования наработок в сфере взаимоотношений власти и бизнеса, намечаются возможные способы лоббирования российских интересов в Египте.
