Moscow Megapolis in the Modern Russian and World Political Space
Abstract
This article is devoted to the place and role of the Moscow megalopolis in the Russian and global political space. The article reveals the problems of formation of the modern world a new political subjectivity and consideration of big cities, in particular Moscow, as fully fledged political actors and active participants of the political processes. The author pays special attention to the particular political functions of the capital megalopolis, as well as the resources and competitive advantages, which allow Moscow to play an active role in political relations and processes, both within the country and on the international arena.

Expanding the Borders of Moscow: an Analysis of Alternative Projects and Ways of Its Implementation
Abstract
The authors analyze the advantages and disadvantages of some possible models for expanding the boundaries of Moscow City: the association of Moscow City and the Moscow region into a single subject of the Russian Federation, the uniformly expansion of the city boundaries at the expense of the Moscow region, the creation of a satellite town, and the ongoing accession of the specially designated part of the Moscow region territory to Moscow City.

The Features of Political Crowdfunding in the Russian Political Practice
Abstract
The article discusses the process сrowdfunding’s formation in modern Russia. The authors highlighted the reasons for the appearance of this phenomenon. They justified choice of Russian politicians of mechanism for collecting funds in political campaigns. The article characterizes trends in political fundraising and сrowdfunding in Russia. The study highlighted their advantages and disadvantages for application in political activity. The authors give examples of successful сrowdfunding campaigns in modern Russia.

Voter’s Turnout Evolution in Russian Overmillion Citizen Cities
Abstract
The article investigates the empirical turnout distribution of electoral commissions for 15 Russian cities with a population of over 1 million inhabitants. Such distributions are built for various level elections since 1999. For some cities distributions have sustained quasi-Gaussian (near to gaussian) type, while others show an instability in the type of distribution.

The Analysis of Ethnic and Confessional Relations in the North Caucasus
Abstract
In the article the author analyzes characteristics of ethno-confessional relations in the North Caucasus. The author describes the main problems, which became the cause of instability in the region. Particular attention is drawn to the important role of ethnic and religious factors in maintaining of political stability and territorial unity, combined with a multi-confessional and multi-ethnic Russian reality.

The Role of State Policy in Personnel Management on the Example of State and Municipal Authorities
Abstract
This article analyzes the role of personnel management in government agencies and local government. The author concludes that provides an overview of the influence of human resource management in large organizations and industries, the analysis of the role of human resource management in the organization, an overview of its major mechanisms of functioning in an emerging market in the introduction of innovative technologies to improve the efficiency of production. The authors conclude that the special role of HR managers in the implementation of the policy of the Moscow government for professional development of civil servants.

“Muslim Brothrhood” in the Egyptian Revolution of 2011

The article examines the roots and causes of protests in Egypt at the present stage. The author focuses on the ideological influence of Islamic parties and movements, in particular the association “Muslim Brotherhood” in the Egyptian Revolution of 2011. “Arab Spring” and Palestinian Problem

Palestinian Problem: Peace Resistance or Cyclic Return to Deadlock
Abstract
This article considers the phenomenon of peaceful resistance, which is maintained by Palestinians amid the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. The main thesis of the article lies in the problem of effectiveness of this method under conditions of indifference and lack of interest of the Western news agencies in this relation, as well as the liability of the State of Israel, which ignores all the peace initiatives. Conclusion of the article deposes that in such circumstances, there can appear new radical groups who will abandon an unarmed method as ineffective that will lead to an escalation of the conflict.

An Artist and Power
Abstract
The authors propose the hypothesis that in the periods of autocracy in European tradition compensation of potential of its negative influence on culture is possible. Such compensation actualizes through the rise of humanistic orientation in arts. With all this going on humanistic trend in culture contributes to the processes of development of political process in the direction of polyarchy. However, the return to autocracy could not be excluded because of many internal and external factors of political situation. To verify the given hypothesis the authors analyze cases of Ancient Greece as well as Renaissance and dictatorships of ХХ centuries in Portugal and Haiti.

Conceptual Basis of E-Democracy Study
Abstract
The article is devoted to formation and development of e-democracy in modern Russian realities. Due to the increasing role of the Internet in political life mechanisms and tools of e-democracy are under consideration as well as new forms of cross-personal communication. Electoral Basis of Nazis on 1928-1932’s Elections in Germany
Abstract
This article is devoted to the question of social basis of the National-socialist party of Germany (NSDAP). The author argues against established point of view that Hitler came to power as the result of a conspiracy of big capital and the support, rendered him by the elites, that the working class was not a social base of the Nazis and supported only the so-called «workers’ parties», that the electoral potential of the NSDAP was exhausted by November 1932, and the KPD had large resources for the growth of the number of deputies in the Reichstag, but this was interrupted by the advent of the Nazis to power.
