Abstract

The main problem under discussion is a question of Ramanuja's originality as a philosopher and his dependence degree on Yamunacarya's ideas. The author tries to make clear all logical difficulties of one modern interpretation of Yamunacarya's work «Atmasiddhi». This text is preserved fragmentally and was reconstructed and translated by one American researcher, who rejected the thesis of the world Indian studies, that Ramanuja only developed Yamunacarya's ideas.
