MACH PRINCIPLE AND SPACE-TIME METRIC

Vladimirov Y.S.

Abstract

There are five arguments in favor of the statement that the metric (the concepts of lengths, intervals, time intervals) is determined by the influences of the entire surrounding world on the properties of the observed objects: 1) logical consequences of recognizing the relational nature of classical space-time and describing interactions based on the concept of long-range, 2) sequential relational interpretation of the Feynman - Wheeler absorber theory, 3) comparison of electromagnetic radiation densities and “scattering” galaxies, 4) mathematicians changing the axiom of Archimedes, 5) keeping the ideas of “metaphysics of light”.

ONE-PARTICLE WAVE FUNCTIONS IN THE RELATIONAL PARADIGM

Solov'yov A.V.

Abstract

We discuss a quantum description of free particles in pseudo-Finslerian momentum spaces appearing in one of relational approaches to physics and geometry of space-time. It is shown that, for wave functions of such particles, we can define an invariant unitary scalar product which ensures the standard quantum mechanical probabilistic interpretation. As the simplest example, the description of a spinless particle is considered.

RELATIVE PRINCIPLE OF FULL ABSORPTION

Zhilkin A.G.

Abstract

The paper discusses the principle of complete absorption, which plays the same role in relational theory as the principle of equivalence in general relativity and the principle of waveparticle duality in quantum theory. The physical essence of this principle boils down to the fact that a sufficiently large number of particles must be present in the Universe so that complete absorption of radiation from any source is possible. This implies complete equivalence, from the experimental point of view, of direct interparticle interaction and the interaction carried by a local field in spacetime. It is noted that in its classical interpretation the Fokker variational principle, on which the theory of direct interparticle interaction is based, contains a dilemma caused by two mutually contradictory necessary properties of the interaction action. One of the options for overcoming this dilemma is proposed.

A MODEL OF PHYSICAL SPACE-TIME AS A TRAJECTORY OF A RANDOM PROCESS IN EXTERNAL PARAMETRIC TIME

Koganov A.V.

Abstract

A model of physical space-time in the form of a trace from a random walk on the support of some finitely generated algebra is considered. The generating set of elements is considered as a set of initial events of the physical world, and all points generated by wandering are interpreted as their consequences. The special properties of such a model allow us to obtain interesting conclusions about the possible causes of the pseudo-Euclidean metric of our world and its 3 + 1 dimension. Such effects as the expansion of the Universe with low acceleration, gravitational deformation of the metric and the superposition of the states of quantum particles get their explanation. There is an effect of duality of the description of physical interactions as long-range or short-range interaction.

RELATIONAL STATISTICAL SPACE-TIME FOR COSMOLOGICAL SCALES

Aristov V.V.

Abstract

The relational statistical approach is used in the study of phenomena of macroscopic cosmological scales. In fact, a variant of the generalized Mach’s principle is developing. Theoretical models of Dark matter as well as Dark energy without introducing additional particles and forces are discussed. Changes in the ordinary kinematic and dynamic equations for ultra-ultra-high speeds are considered. Some new effects are predicted at such energy scales.

ABOUT THE INFORMATION MODEL OF THE UNIVERSE AND ITS CIVILIZATION PROSPECTS

Kruglyi A.L.

Abstract

The consequences of the Wheeler hypothesis that bits are the primary elements of the universe are considered, provided that it is true. An information model of the universe should be created, as a hierarchy of information models of phenomena, which should be based on a single information theory of the microworld. The information model of the universe is relational from a physical point of view and idealistic from a philosophical one. According to a minimal assessment, the performance of a proton, as an information processing process, is comparable to the most powerful supercomputers, which gives an idea of the informational complexity of phenomena. To build information models of complex phenomena, it is necessary to develop a concept of the meaning of information as a physical characteristic. Physics develops along the path of identifying and analyzing elementary cause-effect relationships. The development of systems for working with big data opens up an alternative opportunity to study complex correlations and cause-effect relationships of phenomena that are currently out of sight, and to build relevant information models. Based on these models, it is possible to develop technologies for managing natural phenomena as information interaction. The information model of the universe leads to a view of universal evolution as an information process that can go into the stage of evolution of purely informational beings and the intelligent control of the universe.

ELEMENTARY RELATIONS AND BASICS CATEGORIES OF PHYLOSOPHY, PHYSICS AND MATHEMATICS

Panchelyuga V.A.

Abstract

The present work continues the study of elementary relations. It examines the connection of the concept of «elementary relation» with the basic philosophical and physical-mathematical categories. It is noted that only 2-polar relations are local, and each type of non-2-polar elementary relation has its own type of non-locality. Particular emphasis is placed on bipolar and bipolar relations. Examples illustrating the non-2-polar nature of mystical insights, creative processes are given.

RELATIONAL PARADIGM IN ASKS AND ANSWERS

Suslova M.I., Sidorova-Biryukova A.A.

Abstract

What is the reason for a minor success of relational ideas in scientific and public society? Are they actually that weird as they seem at the first glance? Here we try to give a fresh-eye look to the relational cornerstones (secondary nature of space-time, action at a distance, and Mach’s principle). We consider some typical questions usually asked by the opponents, both physicists and wide audience, to find some new arguments in favor of this concept.

A FEW REMARKS ON THE CONCEPT OF PREGEOMETRY DEVELOPED BY YU.S. VLADIMIROV AND LAID BY HIM THE BASIS OF IDEAS ABOUT THE PHYSICAL AND MATHEMATICAL STRUCTURE OF SPACE-TIME

Antipenko L.G.

Abstract

In the program of physical research, formulated by Yu.S. Vladimirov and close to those tasks that are called the geometrization of physics, the author presents an original view on the creative process in physics, which began with the concept of physical structures of Yu.I. Kulakov. Vladimirov used Kulakov’s meta- physical concept to create a geometric image of the world in order to move from it to the study of the structure of space-time with subsequent filling it with physical content. The result is a relational theory of space-time, which is based on axiomatic called pregeometry. In this article, this axiomatics is subjected to critical reflection, its positive and negative points are noted. Among the shortcomings, the author of the Remarks refers a one-sided approach to the concept of physical interaction, where any effect or influence of one physical object on another seems to be long-range in the sense that the action is transmitted without any intermediary and at infinite speed. Another point of view: long-range action should be supplemented by short-range action, because these are two necessary aspects of physical reality. The idea of complementarity of 1. Bohr extends to them: contraria sunt complementa (opposites are complementary).

K.F. VON WEIZSÄCKER’S RELATIONAL PROGRAMME TO BUILD PHYSICS

Sevalnikov A.Y., Rodina A.V.

Abstract

This paper is devoted to the key ideas of K. F. von Weizsäcker. His book “Aufbau der Physik”, which is dedicated to building a unified physical theory, is in the focus. Confirming that quantum mechanics is a universal physical theory, Weizsäcker is looking for ways to construct it. Based on the logic of temporary statements, introducing the concept of the Uralternative, Weizsäcker comes to the construction of quantum theory. He shows that on its basis the theory of relativity can be obtained, the structure of space with a relational character can be deduced.

FROM GEORG CANTOR TO ERNST MACH

Vekshenov S.A.

Abstract

In the review, in the context of the ideas of E. Mach, one of the key problems of modern natural science is touched upon: the correlation of “reductionism” and “holism”. If the idea of reductionism was unprecedentedly developed in the framework of the theory of sets and the Bourbaki program, then the Mach principle, as well as other ideas of the philosopher, are only on the rise. Nevertheless, there is a clear realization that the future lies behind these ideas and the book under review in this context seems extremely important.

MACH PRINCIPLE AND PRINCIPLE OF RELATIVITY

Nikitin A.P.

Abstract

The article considers the “many-faced” Mach principle and the principle of relativity, which are organically related due to the unity of nature, and provides a brief historical overview of the primary sources of these principles. Ernst Mach formulated his principle by criticizing Newtonian mechanics in his book [1] in 1896. A. Einstein, first using the term “Mach principle” in 1918, wrote that the general theory of relativity is based on three main points, one of which was the Mach principle [2. P. 613]. Currently, Mach principle is used as one of the three main provisions of the relational theory of Yu.S. Vladimirov [3]. The article also describes A. Einstein’s thought experiment from the article “Is there a gravitational effect similar to electrodynamic induction?” [2. P. 223] and about numerous experiments based on various physical principles, with the aim of checking Mach principle.
