Аннотация

Воспалительные заболевания органов малого таза (ВЗОМТ) — наиболее распространенные и достаточно серьезные инфекционные заболевания, встречающиеся у женщин репродуктивного возраста. Цель лечения должна заключаться не только в исчезновении симптомов, эррадикации инфекта из половых путей, но и в предупреждении развития возможных осложнений, в первую очередь развития хронического воспаления. Статья посвящена существующим в настоящее время проблемам и спорным вопросам в отношении хронических воспалительных заболеваний органов малого таза. В обзоре представлены данные отечественных и зарубежных исследований, а также собственный взгляд на проблему, перспективы и возможные пути ее решения.
