Abstract

The analysis of the results of surgical way of treatment of 2350 people, having venous disorder of lower extremities has been carried out. The relapse of venous disorder has been revealed among 112 (4,8%). There were 17 (15,2%) men and 95 (84,8%) women. A connection of the relapse of venous disorder with plethora of vein of small pelvis among 87 women has been determined. Thirty three of them were treated conservatively, other thirty were just subjected to surgical treatment - resection of gonadal veins, twenty four patients had complex, conservative and surgical treatment. Those patients who had complex conservative and surgical treatment obtained the best results. So, there is the following conclusion: before making up the decision of surgical intervention of women having venous disorder of lower extremities it is necessary to examine venous haemodynamic of small pelvis (ultrasonic dopplerography, coloured duplex, triplex angioscanning) and if venous plethora is revealed it is necessary to carry out interventions to liquidate pathological reflex for the purpose of prophylaxis of the relapse of venous disorder.
