Spreading of certain ophthalmic diseases related to Novgorod region ecologic conditions

Abstract

The unfavorable environment impact on spreading of certain ophthalmic diseases in urban population of the Novgorod region has been investigated. The impact of air pollutants content on the frequency of medical pediatric appointments due to conjunctivitis has been studied. The influence of informed self-treatment on ocular diseases incidence, and the antioxidant therapy necessity have been reviewed.
