Shaping South Korea's Innovation Policy
Abstract
The innovative policy pursued by South Korea, starting in the 60s. XX century, requires scientific understanding. The authors attempted to answer the research question posed in the article related to the identification of trends and patterns of innovative development of South Korea at various periods and stages of economic development. The principles of the functioning of the economy and its innovative development, problem areas for the implementation of the innovation strategy have been identified. Assessment of the reliability of the presented results is based on methods of analysis and synthesis of scientific literature, as well as statistical data. Practical significance lies in the possibility of using the conclusions proposed in the study, based on the analysis of statistical data and theoretical analysis of scientific sources on the problem of research to increase the effectiveness of Russian state innovation policy.
Construction of a gas pipeline from Russia to South Korea and economic consequences
Abstract
The topic of gas pipeline construction in this study is highly relevant today. The purpose of the study of the article is to consider the analysis of the project to connect the gas pipeline between South-North Korea and Russia. The article discusses such issues, the possibility of implementing an associated petroleum gas (APG) project from North Korea to South Korea, a comparison of two liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) and APG delivery lines, economic consequences for the three countries. As a result, conclusion is an extremely beneficial project for all interested parties, provided that it is launched and successfully completed, South Korea, North Korea and Russia will be able to receive economic benefits. North Korea will be able to receive additional income from transit duties and an additional incentive for regional development through participation in the construction of APG, which will undoubtedly help alleviate the energy shortage throughout the Korean Peninsula.
U.S. Pharmaceutical Products Trade: Current Trends
Abstract
The article examines the importance and necessity of the pharmaceutical sector development using the example of the USA. Trends in the export and import of these products, the largest producers and consumers of the countries were analyzed, as well as their capitalization, profit and location by country were allocated to TNCs. The growth of American exports and imports over the past ten years was revealed, a list of the main countries where most of the pharmaceutical products were sold and where they were bought, the advantages of America over partner countries. In addition, the article provides a forecast until 2025, highlights the main risks and their impact on the United States.
Influence of financing structure on the value of the company
Abstract
The article discusses the main reasons for making investment and financial decisions that contribute to improving the efficiency of the company. The author concludes that it is necessary to assess the impact of the decisions made from an economic and financial point of view, taking into account the effective financing structure.
Project financing: world experience and perspectives for Russia
Abstract
The author describes the world experience in the development of the project financing system, as well as investment projects implemented using this investment tool. The article also provides an explanation of the term "project financing", describes a brief history of its occurrence, its relevance at the present time. The author conducted a comparative analysis of the features of project financing, highlighted the advantages of using this financial instrument, as well as the differences between project financing and equity financing and investment lending. The main trends in the development of the global project finance market are described. The prospects of using the mechanism of public-private partnership are considered.
